- Freeze the lighting criteria, site geometry, operating profile, and environmental exposure.
- Compare complete-luminaire output and distribution, not LED chip data or a brand-wide efficacy number.
- Confirm that each test report identifies the model and configuration being quoted.
- Review installed lifecycle cost with explicit maintenance and replacement assumptions.
- Confirm the contracting entity, local responsibilities, spare parts, and warranty process.
Country of origin and supplier size can inform logistics review, but neither replaces configuration evidence. A management-system certificate is not a product performance test; assess market conformity and third-party marks within their actual scope.
